Who is delirious George?
A collective, a brotherhood, a wolf pack? No. Delirious George is none of those. Who we are, however, is a group of musicians, from Norfolk VA, who have banded together to formulate a unique and full-forced sound. Delirious George brings our brand of high-energy Precision-Funk, or as we like to call it, Grown-Folk music, with us to every show we play. And while every member of Delirious George is in fact delirious, not a single one of us is George… we all are.
What is precision-funk?
Mix the energy of Jam music with a soulful rhythm section from the funk days of old, trim the fat, and you get Precision-Funk. Our sound has been shaped by many great influences — some of which we’ve had the privilege of sharing a bill with, including: Dopapod, Pimps of Joytime, Jazz is Phish, The Fritz, Big Something, and many more.
Our brand of Precision-Funk consists of Guitar, Bass, Keyboards (E-piano, Synth, and Organ), Drums, and Percussion.

Where do they play?
Delirious George is based out of Norfolk, VA, but we certainly aren’t afraid to jump in our van (called “Cone Peep,” it’s a long story…) and hit the road. Delirious George has played shows in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Hampton, The Outer Banks, Richmond, Clarksburg MD, Blacksburg.

If we didn’t list your city, it’s not because we don’t want to play there! Delirious George has big plans for our future. If we can get our van there and back, we will play there! Situated in Norfolk VA, we’re in a great position to get to any major East Coast city, from Miami to Boston.
